Hi all!
I’m at a conference in Long Beach this week and have some neat stuff to share with you! It’s called the Wonder Media Storymaker Conference.

Storymaker is educational media software that’s being used in elementary, middle and high schools around the US as part of English, History or Creative Writing classes. To make a long story short, it’s a user-friendly, fun tool for students of all ages and abilities to make their own cartoons using 3D ‘puppetlike’ characters.

This week Wonder Media flew about 25 students in 3rd – 12th grade, as well as their families and teachers, to California. They came from Idaho, Wyoming, Oklahoma, all over the place. Most of the kids have been making cartoons in school – perfect context to hear talks from Jon Heder, Butch Hartman and even Glen Keane! (If you haven’t seen Keane draw before, I’ve got a cool video coming at ya).

Stay tuned!! Or tune out! I won’t take it personal.
